    Broomfield Community Resource Guide connects Broomfield residents and families to support services including: transportation, health care, child services, emergency assistance, and adult & senior services.

  • Broomfield DHS

    The Broomfield Department of Human Services (DHS) provides assistance and support to Broomfield children, adults, and families.  DHS services include food assistance (SNAP), health insurance (Medicaid), job search and employment services, and child and adult well-being. 

  • Broomfield Housing Division

    Working in partnership with the community, Federal and State housing funding and regulatory agencies, developers, and neighboring communities, the Broomfield Housing Division provides a variety of housing programs to meet the diverse and changing needs of Broomfield residents to enhance their quality of life.

    A centralized resource that connects homeowners in distress with HUD-approved housing counseling agencies throughout Colorado for foreclosure prevention counseling and other relevant services.

HOMELESS SERVICES

  • Colorado Coalition for the Homeless (CCH)

    Works collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families, children, and individuals who are experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado. CCH advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being and stability of those it serves.

  • Colorado Safe Parking Initiative

    A citizen-led initiative to encourage safe, legal parking locations for individuals and families experiencing homelessness who are living in vehicles in Colorado’s Front Range communities.

  • Metro Denver Homeless Initiative

    Metro Denver’s Coordinated Entry System serves all people experiencing homelessness. The Metro Denver Homeless Initiative is leading and advancing collaboration to end homelessness in Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson Counties.

    The City and County of Broomfield has recently partnered with Brothers Redevelopment, Inc. to manage the city’s rehabilitation and repair program.

  • Property Tax Exemption and Deferral Programs

    There are a number of different programs for property tax exemptions and deferrals available to Broomfield homeowners who are senior citizens, persons with disabilities, Disabled Veterans, and surviving spouses. Each program has specific qualifying factors which are detailed at the website below.

  • Broomfield Partial Property Tax Refund Program Assistance

    Broomfield homeowners may qualify for the Partial Property Tax Refund Program! This program is available for Broomfield residents who are homeowners, have lived in their home for at least two years, meet the income qualifications and are a Senior (65+) or resident with a documented disability.

    Sunshine Home Share Colorado ensures quality of life for older adults and strengthens communities through a safe home-sharing model, supportive economic empowerment, and connections to resources and services.

  • Broomfield Utility Rate Assistance Fund

    Broomfield households may qualify for the Utility Rate Assistance Program. As long as the person is a Broomfield resident that either owns or rents within the jurisdiction and is at or below the 100% AMI (average median income), they will qualify for the program.
